Helping to lead the way toward important medical discoveries that improve people's health and save lives, NIH scientists investigate ways to prevent disease as well as the causes, treatments, and even cures for common and rare diseases. Excellent information resource for all health conditions.  The "Health A-Z" section is particularly useful.

• American Journal of Clinical Nutrition - [from the site]: The most highly rated peer-reviewed journal in ISI's nutrition and dietetics category; publishes the latest worldwide basic and clinical studies relevant to human nutrition in topics such as obesity, vitamins and minerals, nutrition and disease, and energy metabolism. Abstracts are free, full articles require paid subscription/membership.
